Frontline legal practitioner, erudite and fiery Rights Activist, Kunle Adegoke, popularly called K-Rad has appealed to Nigerian youths to eschew violence and embrace peace.

The former gubernatorial aspirant in Osun State gave the advice in a special Eid’l Mawlud message to the youths.

Newsclickng.com reports that the legal practitioner’s message is coming on the heels of the fallout of the #EndSARS protests hijacked by hoodlums in most states.

MESSAGE TO NIGERIAN YOUTH ON EID’L MAWLUD – K. RAD

On this occasion of the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), I charge you with the remembrance of the noble virtues of the Rosul, with the obligation to demand your rights responsibly, to call your leaders to account for accountability is a hallmark of righteousness, to resist the tyranny of the oppressors in the reverred tradition of Muhammad (SAW). But you must eschew this ignoble veil of banditry, reject this wave of looting and arson, stand up against the mob tyranny of the oppressed as it is equally objectionable in the sight of Allah (SAW) and His Messenger, counsel your conscience to rectitude and rebuke lawlessness and killings you have endeared to your falling soul in recent times, defend the rights of your fellow man without the arrogance of violence or the bestial crudity of a vengeful monster. Remember that your prayers are only worthy of acceptance to Allah when you follow the tradition of His noble Prophet.
Happy Eid’l Mawlud.

K. Rad
