Ibrahim Yaro Suleiman, the former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Kaduna State chapter, is reportedly dead.
Suleiman was said to have passed away after a lengthy illness.
Abraham Catoh, the party’s state publicity secretary, expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family in a letter that was signed and provided to the press.
The statement read, “The entire State Executive Committee led by the chairman, Felix Hassan Hyat, sympathised with the immediate family of its first Chairman in the state, Ibrahim Yaro Suleiman, who passed away after a protracted illness.”
The statement described the late former PDP chairman as an astute politician and elder statesman of immense value to the state.
It further praised his contribution to the growth of the party across the state while he was alive, saying that his contribution would never be forgotten.
