Elections: PDP collation agent slumps, dies on duty in Benue

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ward collation agent in Mbacher ward, Katsina Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, Hon. Eunoch Mson Atsehe, slumped and died.

Msom was said to have slumped and died while performing his duty at a collation center in Katsina Ala town.

The deceased hailed from Mbacher ward, the largest ward in Katsina Ala Local Government area, with the largest voting population.

But due to insecurity, the collation centre was moved to the main Katsina Ala town.

According to The Nation, the deceased’s uncle, a former Commissioner of Commerce and Industry Hon. Terfa Ihidan, who confirmed the incident, said that late Mson went outside to ease himself and was later found dead.

Late Atsehe is survived by his wife and children.
