The Delta State Police Command has said the suspected killer of Nollywood actor, Mr. Abuchi Ikpo, was on the run.
Ikpo’s decomposing body was discovered in his apartment in Asaba’s Jesus-Save neighbourhood on Monday.
Bright Edafe, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, told the media on Wednesday in Asaba that police had launched an investigation into the actor’s death.
He said, “The police visited the scene which is the deceased apartment at the Jesus-Save area on Monday, and removed the corpse.
“We are investigating the incident. Although the PA to the actor is being suspected, we can not presume him guilty until proven so.
“If the family says the suspect is the PA, then we will do our investigation. We are on his trail because he is on the run.”
Edafe, however, said no arrest has been made in connection to the incident.
